The “second” C1, like its predecessor, shares the platform and aggregate base with Peugeot 108 and Toyota Aygo. Compared to the previous iteration, the compact hatch received a more dynamic design, highlighted by new lighting and a chrome-plated false radiator grille. In addition, the rear lights have shifted down and taken on a teardrop shape. The length has been increased from 3435 mm to 3466 mm, but the wheelbase has not changed - 2340 mm.
The second-generation Citroën C1 powertrain range includes two three-cylinder petrol engines: a 1.0-liter VTi 68 (68 hp, 95 Nm) and a 1.2-liter PureTech 82 (82 hp, 116 Nm). Gearboxes are five-speed - "mechanics" and "robot". The compact hatch is delivered to Ukraine only with a 68-horsepower engine. A car with a manual transmission accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 13 seconds, and with a robotic gearbox - in 15.9 seconds. Fuel consumption in the combined cycle is 4.1-4.2 l/100 km.
Trunk volume Citroën C1 with spare tire - 180 liters. The back of the second row is folded in a ratio of 50:50.
The basic equipment of the C1 includes: six airbags, ABS, ESP, Hill Srart Assist, tire pressure monitoring, trip computer, air conditioning and LED daytime running lights. Also, the hatchback can be equipped with electric front doors, heated front seats and a media system with a 7-inch touch screen. The list of options includes a rear-view camera, climate control, a keyless entry and start system, an emergency braking system at “city” speeds, and a lane change warning function.
The Citroën C1 is produced at a joint venture between PSA and Toyota Motor in Kolín, Czech Republic.
