The similarity between the showcar and its successor is expressed in the brutal design of the front end, the developed wheel arches and the shape of the rear lights. At the same time, instead of swing doors, traditional ones were installed, and to increase the rigidity of the body, central pillars were integrated into it. By the way, the C5 Aircross was built on the EMP2 platform of the PSA concern, which also formed the basis of the Peugeot 3008, Peugeot 5008, DS7 Crossback and Opel Grandland X.

Salon meets customizable digital instrument panel with a diagonal of 12 inches. Three separate seats are installed on the second row: they can move back and forth and have backrest angle adjustments. The seats themselves are made using Citroen Advanced Comfort technology. Its feature is an additional layer of soft foam, which makes the fit more comfortable. Finally, a capacious trunk should also be noted: 550-690 liters with a 5-seat interior configuration, depending on the position of the rear seats. For comparison, the Qashqai trunk is designed for 430 liters, while Renault Koleos has 505 liters.

Traditionally for Citroen cars, the C5 Aircross crossover has a wide range of personalization options: the model is available in 7 body colors, 3 options for “color packages” of exterior trim, and also has 4 upholstery options, 3 trim levels (Live, Feel, Shine) and a number of additional options.

Depending on the configuration, various driver assistance systems can be installed. Driving safety is provided by such functions as automatic emergency braking (Active Safety Brake), control of "blind spots" of rear-view mirrors (Blind Spot Monitoring System), active lane control system (Active Lane Departure Warning), warning of a possible collision (Collision Risk Alert), recognition of speed limit signs (Speed ​​Limit Recognition), etc. The list of "special stages" also provides for keyless entry and engine start and a wide-angle rear-view camera. And for off-road assistance, the front-wheel drive vehicle is equipped with Grip Control and Hill Assist Descent (descent assistance), Hill-Start Assist and Static Cornering Lights.
