Description Citroen Berlingo

Citroën Berlingo - front-wheel drive five- or seven-seater compact van, built on the same aggregate base with the Peugeot Rifter and Opel Combo. The third generation of the model was presented in March 2018 at the Geneva Motor Show. In addition to the passenger "Berlingo" produced Berlingo van and cargo-passenger version Berlingo CrewCab.

The passenger Citroën Berlingo is available in two body lengths: L1 (4.4 m) and L2 (4.75 m). The volume of the trunk, depending on the length, varies from 775 liters to 4000 liters, and with the third row of seats with a length of L2 it reaches 322 liters. In addition, for the third iteration of the Berlingo, you can personalize: in addition to the choice of body colors and rims, “color packages” are offered. These include fog lamp surrounds, Airbump trims and interior accents.

The 2019 Citroën Berlingo engine range is represented by the following units:

Petrol

• 1.2 PureTech 110 S&S (110 hp, 205 Nm) with 6-speed "mechanics";

Diesel

• 1.5 BlueHDi 75 (76 hp, 230 Nm) with 5-speed "mechanics";
• 1.5 BlueHDi 100 (102 hp, 250 Nm) with 5-speed "mechanics";
• 1.5 BlueHDi 130 S&S (130 hp, 300 Nm) with 6-speed "mechanics" or 8-speed "automatic" EAT8.

However, the 1.6 HDi 92 turbodiesel (92 hp, 230 Nm) in combination with a 5-speed "mechanics" became the base for the Ukrainian market. An alternative to the 1.6-liter engine was the 1.5 BlueHDi 130 unit (130 hp, 300 Nm) paired with an 8-speed automatic.

The initial configuration of the Feel includes: an electronic stabilization system, Hill Start Assist, frontal airbags for the driver and front passenger, air conditioning, niches for storing small items with a total volume of about 100 liters, power windows for the front doors, external rear-view mirrors with electric adjustment and heating, radio + 6 speakers, USB and Bluetooth, as well as an automatic headlight switch-on system.

The next equipment - SHINE - differs from the basic version with improved noise insulation, an electric parking brake and power windows in the side doors, front-row side airbags, rear parking sensors, Advanced Comfort seats, three second-row independent seats and LED daytime running lights. Also, the equipment includes a system for automatically turning on the wipers and original stylistic solutions (white edging for fog lights, Airbump inserts, accents on door handles and exterior rear-view mirror housings, as well as roof rails).

In addition, Citroën has developed a special XTR package. Features include special body and interior color accent trim, 17-inch SPIN alloy wheels and a distinctive XTR logo.

A total of 15 driver assistance systems are available (both in the base and as an option): an assistant for determining the location and automatic parking, a Top Rear Vision rear view camera, Grip Control paired with Hill Descent Assist, sign recognition and driver fatigue, blind control zones and warnings about collisions and emergency braking, keyless entry and others.

The Citroën Berlingo is produced at the Groupe PSA plant in Spain.
