Citroen C4 - front-wheel drive five-seater C-class sedan. Compared to hatchback C4 the four-door received a wheelbase increased by 10 cm. In terms of space for rear passengers, the sedan is ready to compete with most competitors in the golf class.

If you do not take into account a separate trunk, then the appearance and interior decoration largely repeats the five-door version of the model. Digital instrument panel with selectable backlight color, similar to the center console. But the optional LED daytime running lights are located not on the headlights, but under the foglight sections. In addition, for the "Russian", as well as for the European version, you can order multimedia with a color display and separate climate control. But there is also a purely local flavor, for example, full rather than partial heating of the windshield, heated washer nozzles.

Technically, the model is largely unified with Peugeot 408, with which it is assembled at the same plant in Kaluga. Nevertheless, unlike the Peugeot, the Citroen C4 sedan has more expensive finishing materials and a high level of equipment. But the model was deprived of diesel engines, so buyers can choose only one of three gasoline engines: the familiar 1.6-liter unit of the previous generation, the output of which was increased to 115 hp, as well as atmospheric (120 hp) or turbocharged ( 150 hp) version of a modern engine of the same size.

Gearboxes will be tied to specific motors. The base 115-horsepower is supposed to have a “mechanics” in five gears, the 120-horsepower one has a four-speed automatic. But the “turbocharged” unit with a capacity of 150 hp. get a modern six-speed automatic transmission with sport and winter modes.

In light of the rise in duties on imported cars with gasoline engines, the absence of units on "heavy" fuel, of course, will not play in favor of the Citroen C4 sedan. Nevertheless, the model has other trump cards - increased ground clearance (176 mm in an unloaded state), nice design, spacious interior, as well as adaptation to our climatic conditions. The debut in Ukraine was scheduled for the fall of 2013, but due to the increase in duties on imported cars, as well as the introduction of a scrap collection, the premiere of the model on our market was postponed.
