Citroen C4 - the world premiere of the model took place at the Paris Motor Show in 2010. The car has slightly increased in size, received a more spacious trunk. Nevertheless, they built the second generation Citroen C4 on the platform of the first generation, so the wheelbase remained the same and is equal to 2,608 mm.

But the electronics in the new C4 is enough for the previous two. Not to mention the anti-lock braking system (ABS) and emergency braking assistance (AFU) that have already become the norm, the vehicle also has ESP, brake force distribution (REF), and anti-slip control (ASR). In addition, the Citroen C4 offers a blind spot monitoring system and cruise control with a speed limiter.

Despite the fact that the original and even avant-garde solutions for which Citroen is actually famous for have noticeably diminished in the cabin, the quality of its performance has become a cut above. Most of the materials are pleasant to the touch, and in terms of equipment level, the model was brought close to Citroen C5. For example, in the top configuration, in addition to heating, the front seats also receive the function of a massager.

For all equipment levels (except the initial one), an audio system with 6 speakers and the ability to connect external devices via Bluetooth, USB or AUX is offered. For top performances, a multimedia system with navigation and a 7-inch display is available.

Depending on the configuration, the Citroen C4 is offered with the following bundles of powertrains:

• petrol 1.6i (110 hp, 147 Nm) + five-speed "mechanics";

• petrol engine 1.6 VTi (120 hp, 160 Nm) + five-speed "mechanics";

• 1.6 VTi gasoline engine (120 hp, 160 Nm) + four-speed automatic;

• 1.6 HDi diesel engine (92 hp, 230 Nm) + five-speed "mechanics";

• 1.6 eHDi diesel engine (114 hp, 270 Nm) + six-speed "robot".

The Citroen C4 hatchback is supplied to the Ukrainian market from France.
