DS4 Crossback - a “crossover” version of the front-wheel drive C-class hatchback DS 4. Initially, the family was produced under the Citroën brand, but in 2015, when the DS line was turned into a premium brand DS Automobiles, the five-doors lost "double chevrons". Ukrainian premiere of "Crossback" took place in January 2016.

By Inheriting Traits pre-reform Citroën DS4, a version named Crossback received plastic wheel arch protection, integrated roof rails and increased ground clearance to 173 mm. And for the top configuration of the hatchback, the developers have provided LED Vision headlights - LED position and daytime running lights, bi-xenon main light and “dynamic” direction indicators.

The suspension has not changed structurally - MacPherson strut at the front and a semi-dependent beam at the rear, however, its settings have been revised with an emphasis on "off-road". However, despite the specific positioning in the market, one should not overestimate the capabilities of the five-door, since the drive here is exclusively front-wheel drive, and only electronic simulation of the Intelligent Traction Control differential lock is intended to help on slippery surfaces and snow-covered roads.

But the DS 4 Crossback boasts good equipment. The hatchback is equipped by default with a hill start assist system, front, front side and curtain airbags, cruise control, climate control, heated front seats, keyless entry to the cabin, a media system with a 7-inch touch screen and other equipment. One of the highlights of the model is a panoramic windshield, reaching almost to the heads of the driver and passenger. If necessary, it can be partially covered with sliding curtains with visors. The list of options includes several combinations of materials for interior trim with leather, front seats with electric adjustment and memory, a rear-view camera and a blind spot monitoring system.

On the Ukrainian market, DS 4 Crossback is available with three engines, combined with a six-speed automatic EAT6:

• petrol 1.6 THP (160 hp, 240 Nm). Acceleration 0-100 km/h takes 9.3 seconds. Consumption in the combined cycle - 7.7 l / 100 km;
• diesel 1.6 BlueHDi with Stop & Start system (120 hp, 300 Nm). Acceleration 0-100 km / h - 11.4 seconds, consumption - 3.8 l / 100 km;
• diesel 2.0 BlueHDi with Stop & Start system (180 hp, 400 Nm). Acceleration 0-100 km / h - 8.6 seconds, consumption - 4.3 l / 100 km.

Serial production of the DS 4 Crossback has been launched in France.
