Citroën Grand C4 Picasso — seven-seat front-wheel drive minivan. The second generation of the model has been produced since 2013 in parallel with five-seater modification, devoid of the designation Grand. Built on the EMP2 platform of the French PSA Group.
The “big” C4 Picasso is one of the few representatives of family minivans in Ukraine, and even more so one of the few cars with such a bold design not only in Ukrainian, but also in other European markets. In the spring of 2016, the French submitted an updated Picasso family with three-level optics and a new radiator grill, which is visually divided into two parts by a bumper. In addition, taillights with a 3D effect came standard on all versions of the model, and a black logo with chrome trim appeared on the tailgate instead of the usual “double chevron”
The seven-seater Citroën is avant-garde not only in appearance, but also in interior decoration. On top of the front panel is a fully digital and also color tidy with a 12-inch diagonal, and a 7-inch touchscreen display has taken its place on the center console, which allows you to control the functions of the media system. In the sun visors, you can find curtains that allow you to close the windshield from the daytime sun in the parking lot. For the convenience of cleaning the box for small things between the driver's and passenger's seat, it can be completely removed.
Citroen C4 Grand Picasso in the "base" is equipped with front, side and curtain airbags. In addition to this initial configuration, traction control and directional stability systems are put in place. As additional options are available: a panoramic roof, a keyless entry system, a power tailgate with a sensor under the bumper, adaptive cruise control, a speed limit sign recognition system, blind spot sensors and a surround view system.
Among the interesting options, Citroen offers front seats with a massage function. Moreover, for the front passenger for a surcharge, you can order a chair that allows you to take a semi-lying position. For a more comfortable view of the rear seats, the Grand C4 Picasso has an additional interior mirror.
The European range of Citroen C4 Grand Picasso is represented by petrol turbo engines of 1.2 liters (130 hp) and 1.6 liters (165 hp), as well as turbo diesel engines of 1.6 liters (99 and 120 hp) and 2.0 liters (150 hp). For the Ukrainian market, cars with a 1.6 THP gasoline engine (150 hp, 240 Nm) and a 1.6 BlueHDi diesel engine (120 hp, 300 Nm) with a Start & Stop system are provided. Both units are combined with a 6-speed "automatic", while the gasoline version, according to the manufacturer, consumes 6.4 l / 100 km in the combined cycle, and the diesel version - 3.9 liters per "hundred".
Serial production of the Citroen C4 Grand Picasso has been launched in Spain.
